Description

Two sections of the proposed water pipeline route were surveyed with a fluxgate gradiometer. In area one, a number of inter-connecting ditch-like anomalies were seen along with a low number of discrete anomalies which may represent prehistoric salt production. Area two contained minimal evidence of archaeological remains with the exception of a curvilinear ditch-like anomaly. {1}
