Description

Four trial trenches were excavated, two in the grounds of Edward King House and two in the adjacent graveyard. Disturbed graves were encountered in the graveyard trenches whilst only disturbed deposits were seen in the grounds. A small area of the interior of the house was also investigated but this revealed no building fabric earlier than the 19th century. {1}{2}
