Description

A watching brief was undertaken during trenching for a replacement water main in Bracebridge Heath. No significant archaeological remains were encountered. Part of a backfilled pit was found beside the south-eastern corner of Bracebridge Heath parish, and this was interpreted as a limestone quarry for road maintenance.{1}{2}
