Description
Fieldwalking was carried out as part of an archaeological evaluation prior to industrial development. A scatter of Roman pottery was recorded. A small amount of medieval and post medieval pottery was also observed, and this is thought to derive from manuring practices. No prehistoric artefacts were recovered. {1}{2}
