Description

Fieldwalking was carried out along the route of a new water pipeline before groundworks began. Weather conditions during the survey were poor, including fog on several days, and the results did not include any concentrations of artefacts indicative of archaeological sites. A light general scatter of medieval and post medieval pottery was observed, along with a single Roman sherd.
