Description

The site of a proposed residential development was fieldwalked as part of a desk based assessment. 19 pottery sherds, mostly post medieval, 1 tile fragment, 1 piece of animal bone and 1 piece of slag were collected. The pottery included 2 Romano-British sherds and 2 possible Anglo-Saxon sherds. The sherds were highly abraded and probably represent manuring scatters. {1}
