Description
A watching brief was carried out during geotechnical investigations in January 1994 at the University site. No archaeological features earlier than the 18th century were observed. Enivornmental sampling was undertaken which provided much information about the Brayford Pool area in prehistoric times.

Further testing was carried out in July and August 1994 as part of the same investigation. Similar results were obtained. {3}
