Description
A watching brief was commenced during groundworks associated with construction of an office extension at 70 St. Nicholas House. During the excavation of the foundations problems were encountered and the construction methods changed, no longer neccessating a watching brief. Roman deposits believed to represent a quarry pit were revealed. {1}{2}
