Description
A geophysical survey was conducted by Archaeological Surveys (on behalf of Archaeological Project Services) over 2ha of pasture within Tallington. The detailed magnetic survey revealed a complex of both positive and negative anomalies. Many of the anomalies were of potential archaeological origin and included discrete positive responses that indicated the presence of pits, linear anomalies that formed a rectilinear enclosure, curvilinear anomalies that formed a ring-ditch and evidence of former ridge and furrow.{1}{2}
