Description

An archaeological watching brief was undertaken the goundworks phase for construction of a fitness and information technology suite on land previously used as playing fields. No archaeological features were identified during the work. A single sherd of medieval pottery and a fragment of tile were found in the topsoil and machined deposits, and a small number of post medieval finds were also recovered. {1}{2}
