An archaeological watching brief was conducted during groundworks for the construction of a new dwelling on land to the rear of the White Swan public house, at The Green, Scotter. No archaeological features or deposits were encountered, although single redeposited sherds of medieval and post-medieval pottery were recovered. {1}{2}
