Description

Archaeological recording was undertaken during the excavation of geo-technical test pits at the former Spa Road Power Station, Lincoln. The work recorded a sequence of naturally derived clays, sands and gravels overlain by alluvial peats and post 18th century reclamation deposits. However, significant archaeological deposits or features were not recorded and no archaeological finds were retrieved. {1}{2}
