Description
Resistivity survey was undertaken in selected areas within the walls of Lincoln Castle. This project was undertaken as part of a project aiming to gain a greater understanding of the Norman Castle. Four areas were surveyed within the castle walls: the central part of the Castle Bailey, the northwest corner of the Bailey (The Orchard), an area to the rear of the Courthouse and to the south of the West Gate and the internal area of Lucy Tower.{1}
