Description

An archaeological evaluation (trial trenching) was undertaken on land at Wygate Park, Spalding. Four machine cut trenches were excavated. The trenches revealed a sequence of natural clays deposited in marine and saltmarsh conditions, interrupted by a terrestrial event.
