Description
An archaeological watching brief was undertaken during groundworks at Hall Farm Yard, Main Street, Cawthrope, Bourne. The watching brief monitored the excavation of foundation trenches for an indiviual house on Plot 5. The work identified a former topsoil, a backfilled foundation trench and demolition layers associated with former farm buildings that occupied the site. No significant archaeological deposits were encountered and no artefacts were retrieved from the site during the investigation. {1} {2}
