Description

An archaeological watching brief was conducted during groundworks for the installation of electricity cables between the guardhouse and a new toilet block at Tattershall Castle. No archaeological features were identified, although a scatter of redeposited artefacts was recorded, with large quantites of medieval roof tile, animal bone and post-medieval pottery being recovered. {1}
