Description

A small archaeological excavation was undertaken prior to the residential development of land off Hogsthorpe Road, Mumby. Two trenches were opened in an area known to contain archaeological remains: Trench 1 measuring 20m by 5m was positioned along the northeastern edge of the site, parallel with Hogsthorpe Road, and Trench 2 was 10m by 10m and lcated immediately to the north of an existing roundabout {1} {2}
