Description
An archaeological watching brief was undertaken in advance of flood alleviation works on land situated adjacent to Ferry Lane, Washingborough. The watching brief monitored the removal of topsoil immediately to the east of an existing tarmac surface to a widfth of 2m and a depth of 0.40m. No significant deposits were exposed during the course of the watching brief {1} {2}
