Description
Systematic field walking was conducted as part of an investigation of the Roman Town and Cemetery at Ancaster. The field walking targeted the field to the east of the Roman Town (ANS01), and recovered a large assemblage of pottery, comprising a wide range of fabrics and dates, but dominated by domestic grey wares of the late Roman period. {1}{2}
