Site visits were conducted to assess the impact of the proposed construction of a new sewerage system centred around Great Carlton. Access to much of the actual route was not possible, but field conditions were checked from public roads and paths where possible. Areas of medieval ridge and furrow were identified along with scatters of medieval and post-medieval pottery and an isolated prehistoric flint artefact. {1}{2}
