Description
An archaeological excavation was carried out as part of the Fenland Management Project. Topsoil was stripped from a 10m by 50m trench over the densest part of the finds scatter with a further 10m by 10m area cut from the eastern side. The main trench was also slightly extended to fully expose a feature recorded at the western limit of the excavation.{1}
