Description

A series of 1m by 1m test pits and two inspection trenches measuring 6m by 1m and 10m by 1m were excavated in order to define precisely the location of lithics. The pits and trenches were excavated in 0.1m spits and dry-sieved through a 5mm mesh. Further test pits were dug to the east to confirm the lowering of artefact density on that part of the site.{1}
