Description
Trial trenching was carried out prior to proposed construction of four residential dwellings, in order to assess the nature of any archaeological resource and the impact of proposed development. Four trenches were placed to target anomalies detected by a prior geophysical, and in a blank area. Trench 1 measured circa 5m by 5m, Trench 2 measured circa 6m by 4m, and Trenches 3 and 4 measured 9m by 1.5m.{1}
