Description

Shortly before the war a garage was built in the north east corner of the site. Since it was the proprietor's wish to build a new house and a new show-front for the garage it was decided to excavate on the area before this was allowed. Four weeks trial excavation were carried by M.W.Thompson for the Ministry of Works. {1}
