Description
A watching brief was carried out during topsoil stripping, sample excavation and recording on circa 0.3ha of land within a development site of about 1.1ha. The site was divided into two areas, as no machining could take place beneath an overhead cable crossing the north-east corner of the investigation area. Area 1 lay south of the cable and Area 2 to the north.{1}
