A magnetometry survey was carried out on circa 1.2ha of land prior to proposed residential development, in order to establish the nature and extent of any surviving archaeological features witihin the development area. Of the two areas surveyed, the archaeological potential of the smaller southern area remained unclear, largely due to the proximity of brick buildings, wire fences and ferrous debris.{1}
