Description
A fieldwalking survey was carried out on two areas measuring circa 120m by 85m and circa 85m by 40m. The survey was undertaken as part of a programme of evaluation. Transects were walked at 10m intervals and all except modern artefacts were collected. Ground conditions were ideal: the field surface was clear of weeds and the soil was friable. Light and weather conditions were also good.{1}
