Description

A watching brief was undertaken during groundworks for extensions to existing industrial units adjacent to the Car Dyke. No evidence of the ditch and bank of the Car Dyke was recorded, casting doubt on the hypothesis that the watercourse adjacent to the site was a remnant of the original Roman watercourse. {1}{2}
