Description

A watching brief/rescue excavation was undertaken when workmen exposed disarticulated human remains while digging tree pits. Out of a total of seven tree pits, four where monitered. A single articulated skeleton and further disarticulated remains were recovered, and are thought to be associated with a medieval chapel. {1}{2}
