Description

Trail trenching was carried out on the proposed route of a water mains pipeline in order to assess the nature of the archaeological resource. Six trenches were dug at regular intervals within the easternmost part of the pipeline route. Pieces of abraded Romano-British pottery and tile were recovered although no clear archaeological remains were identified. {1}{2}
