Description

A building survey of the vicarage to the Church of St Paul, Spalding, was conducted as part of the coursework for a MA in Archaeology and Heritage. The building was designed and constructed together with the nearby church, by Sir George Gilbert Scott and built between 1877-79. It is constructed of red brick with brick and stone dressings, and features a plain tile roof with coped gables, stone finials and ornamental brick stacks with linked and moulded octagonal flues.
