Description
An archaeological watching brief was conducted during a second phase of floor alterations at St Denys' Church, Sleaford. The monitoring revealed further previously concealed areas of stonework inside the church, around the three easternmost piers. Deposits likely relating to the late 19th century restoration of the church were also revealed, and a fragment from a probable furniture moulding template was recovered. {1}{2}
