Description
An archaeological watching brief was conducted during groundworks for the construction of a residential dwelling at Plot 1, Main Road, Burwell. Features very likely associated with post-medieval occupation and street frontage activity were recorded, including the remains of a brick wall and floor, two pits and a steep sided rubbish pit or latrine. {1}{2}
