Trial trenching was carried out to assess the presence/absence of archaeological remains and to inform future planning decisions. Six trenches measuring 20m by 2m (a 2% sample) were placed to provide sample coverage and to target features identified by a prior geophysical survey (ELI2521). No archaeological finds or features were recorded.{1}
