Description

A scheme of trial trenching was carried out in order to assess the archaeological significance of the site and the impact of proposed development. Previous fieldwalking had found a scatter of Romano-British pottery, but trial trenching turned up no archaeological features, and the pottery apparently came from a development site in Tealby.{1}
