Description

An evaluation, in the form of trial trenching, was undertaken to assess the archaeological potential of the site prior to residential development. Four trenches were excavated to correspond with the housing footprints, comprising a 3% sample of the site. Trench 1 measured 20m by 1.6m; Trenches 2 and 3 measured 10m by 3.1m; and Trench 4 measured 11.5m by 3.1m.{1}{2}
