Description

An evaluation, in the form of trial trenching, was undertaken on circa 0.5ha of land prior to construction of 21 dwellings. Six randomly placed trenches were excavated over five days, comprising a 3.4% sample of the site. Trench 1 measured 9.6m by 1.94m; Trench 2 measured 10.35m by 1.8m; Trench 3 measured 8.8m by 1.8m; Trench 4 measured 10m by 3.5m; Trench 5 measured 10.6m by 1.8m; and Trench 6 measured 11.5m by 3.5m.{1}
