A programme of archaeological monitoring and recording was conducted during groundworks associated with the construction of three new dwellings on land in the yard to the south of Village Street, Walcot. Extensive disturbance caused by 20th and 21st century activity on the site was noted, but no archaeological features, deposits or finds were encountered. {1}{2}
