Ten trial trenches were excavated to inform proposed residential development on land behind The Woodlands, Mill Lane, Legbourne. The remains of three ditches and a pit were noted, from which finds of late post-medieval and 20th century pottery and ceramic material were recovered, but no archaeologically significant features, deposits or finds were encountered. {1}{2}
