A topographical survey was undertaken on land off Mill Lane, Scamblesby, to preserve by record potential earthworks prior to a residential development. No ridge and furrow earthworks associated with the Medieval settlement of Scamblesby were identified in the survey area. The poorly defined edge of an infilled moat was recorded, along with two amorphous linear mounds of possibly natural origin. {1}{2}
