Description

A programme of archaeological monitoring and recording was conducted on land at 33 Water Lane, Bassingham, during the groundworks for the construction of a new dwelling. A pit of probable Late Saxon date was identified at the eastern end of the building's footprint. No other archaeologically significant features, deposits or finds were encountered. {1}{2}
