Three trial trenches were excavated as a first phase of works to inform the proposed construction of replacement school buildings at University Academy, 84 Little London, Long Sutton. The infilled remains of a former pond of likely late post-medieval date was noted, but no archaeologically significant features, deposits or finds were encountered. {1}{2}
