Description
Following a scheme of earthwork recording (ELI14589) a programme of archaeological strip, map, and record was undertaken in December 2016 on a plot of land containing two possible holloways or ditches west of Main Road, Covenham St Mary in advance of a proposed residential development. The exact areas of the strip are unclear. Extensive modern deposits, presumably for levelling, were recorded. {1}{2}
