A programme of archaeological monitoring and recording was conducted during groundworks for the construction of a single-storey extension to the existing house at 8 Wapping Lane, Marton. Demolition debris associated with the removal of the previous likely 19th century outbuildings on the site was noted, but no archaeologically significant features, deposits or finds were encountered. {1}{2}
