A site visit was undertaken in October 2014 as part of a heritage statement northeast of Halfway House Roundabout on the A46, in advance of a proposed extension of the village of Witham St Hughs. Buildings associated with the 19th century Sheep Walks Farm were found to be in a poor state of repair, although no archaeological remains, whether finds or earthworks, were noted during the walkover. {1}
