Description

A geophysical survey was conducted on land at London Road, Sleaford, to inform the proposed construction of a new medical centre and nursing home. Positive linear and discrete anomalies were encountered, including a possible double ditched trackway or enclosure boundary towards the southeastern end of the site. {1} Trial trenching in 2013 identified a number of furrows of Medieval or post-Medieval date, though no other archaeological features, deposits or finds were encountered within the surveyed area.
