Description
A geophysical survey was conducted on land at the University of Lincoln's Riseholme campus to help inform future planning applications. Five discrete areas were surveyed. In the northwestern area, a rectilinear enclosure system was encountered, possibly of Romano-British date. An area of magnetic disturbance, possibly representing a structure, was encountered within the northern enclosure. No anomalies representing archaeologically significant features were identified in the other four survey areas. {1}{2}
