Following earlier schemes (ELI14430-33) of geophysical survey and a trial trenching evaluation as part of a wider scheme of works involving mineral extraction permissions at a potential quarry site at Denton, on the Welby Estate, a further scheme of geophysics was undertaken to the north of the existing sites. The scheme recorded a continuation of the known settlement, agricultural, and resource extraction noted to the south, with the notable addition of a seemingly dense area of settlement including a large possible hut circle. {1}
