Description

A programme of archaeological monitoring and recording was conducted during a geotechnical test pit survey on the proposed Tallington Bypass route, Tallington. 15 geotechnical test pits and 6 boreholes were monitored. A small undated pit was identified in one test pit, but no other archaeologically significant features, deposits or finds were encountered. A site visit including a photographic record was also conducted to inform an associated desk-top assesment. {1}
