Description

A programme of archaeological monitoring and recording was conducted on land at Vicarage Lane, Helpringham, during the excavation of foundation trenches for a new detached dwelling. Pits of Saxon, Medieval and post-Medieval date were encountered, as well as three undated ditches and four pits. {1}{2}
